ABOUT danait charity
Danait charity association (DCA) is a non- governmental non – profit making indigenous humanitarian and development oriented organization established in to contribute to the effort being made by government and non - governmental partners to alleviate the problems of vulnerable youth streets children and children form destitute families including women in different parts of the country as well as in Addis Ababa the organization is registered by the federal democratic republic of Ethiopia charities and societies agency in January 29,2010 under the federal charities and societies proclamation number 621/2001 as an Ethiopian residents charity organization.
Later on the organization in line with the government legal frameworks structured itself and started to focus on creating conducive environment for vulnerable youth and destitute women to create job opportunities providing behavioural and business skills trainings and financing young people from low income families who were completed tenth grade and supporting vulnerable groups such as streets children elderly and disabled to improve their living condition in all the target areas of the country.
In realizing its goal the organization has been implementing humanitarian and development oriented projects since its establishment. The organization has well defined structure and favorable work environment to direct it and manage project activities and manpower inputs effectively as a result of the implementation of projects in collaboration with partners and donors the living condition of target beneficiaries were improved and the efforts were encouraging to move on for better performance.

We believe social movement can create social changes, which changes community and, ultimately, the country. As pioneers of providing shelter, educational, training programs and, financial service Danait charity association strives to be part of the solution in improving lives of our beneficiaries and provide programs that strengthen them through hard time. In 2012 we launched a 3 years impact strategy, with a goal to serve sanitary napkins for 12,000,000 (twelve million) underprivileged young girls, improve the living condition of 1,110 orphan & vulnerable children marginalized youth and destitute women and elderly in the country.
Mission
The mission of Danait charity association is to create, find and support programs that directly improve orphan & vulnerable children, marginalization youth and destitute women & elderly lifestyle and health. Guiding us in our mission are our core values:
